Scheduling

Schedule dates and activities clearly

The schedule is an important part of a service program. You can define any number of activities and milestones in a schedule as well as their dependencies and anticipated durations.

Each activity and each milestone is defined and managed in three forms:

1. The base plan (master plan) is the reference against which the project or site is measured in relation to time.

2. The forecast is based on the base plan, but is continuously adapted over the course of the project as a result of new information and/or unforeseen faults. The forecast of the anticipated project completion is always meaningful.

3. The actual values are filled with the date on which an activity is actually completed or a milestone reached.

After entering the initial start date – the beginning of the first activity – SiteTracker calculates the duration of the project until completion automatically according to the base plan and forecast plan. You only have to define the associated schedule template (schedule in the service program) once. By assigning the service program to the sites, you can use the template – ideally for all sites – as often as you wish.
