Incident management
Identify problems before they occur
If unforeseen negative events occur during the project, you record these as site-related fault messages. You can document relevant information, such as the fault description, its severity and anticipated duration. Assign the trouble ticket to a person or instance responsible to facilitate the prompt and smooth rectification of faults.
To prevent the same or similar trouble tickets from being logged at other sites in the future, for example, or to solve faults efficiently, you can record the fault solutions.
Fault messages may affect the project schedule depending on their severity. If a fault is so severe that it affects the project duration, a new estimated completion date is calculated automatically. The new date can be compared to the original plan at any time to make the current delay apparent.
